What it is
Reading the Bible connects us with God's love. Our 2021 Bible Reading Plans create opportunities for us to meet God in the Bible and become closer as a congregation. In 2021 we're offering a series of shared Bible reading opportunities facilitated through the Bible.com app which is designed for use with smart phones and tablets.
How it works
Once you have downloaded the app (instructions below) you can join whichever plans appeal to you. The app offers an easy way to engage with Scripture every day. In addition, you'll be connected through the app with everyone else at Susanna Wesley UMC who is reading the same plans. The app offers the ability for us to connect with each other within the app if we choose to do so--sharing our thoughts on the scripture we're reading, what we're learning from our readings, and how the readings are enhancing our faith.

Select the CEB (Common English Bible) version within the app. The Susanna Wesley UMC reading plans have already been set to CEB.
Need help?
Bring your device (and the password you use to download apps onto your device) to church on Sundays and we will help you download the app. You can also bring your device and password to church during normal office hours and a member of staff will be happy to assist you.
Printed reading plans for the New Testament and the Old Testament are available on the Welcome desk in the church atrium.
