September 16 - November 11, 2020 6:30 - 8:30 PM at Susanna Wesley UMC Take control of your money with Financial Peace University! This nine-lesson class uses biblical wisdom and common sense to help you tackle budgeting, pay off debt, and make your money work for you.
You’ll also connect with others just like you who can help hold you accountable, encourage you, and celebrate your progress. Classes usually last about 120 minutes. We'll meet together to watch and discuss the videos and do activities. Due to ongoing public health concerns, food and childcare will not be provided. Cost: $129.99 (fee goes to Ramsey+) **scholarships available This price is per household (or two individuals). It includes the nine in-person Financial Peace classes and a 1-year online subscription to Ramsey+ which provides other online courses and tools to help you with your financial goals. **Scholarships to offset the course fee are available. Steve is an Investment Advisory Representative with Midwest Financial Partners a subsidiary of Midwest Financial Group an RIA firm. He received a Bachelor of Business degree from Washburn University’s School of Business and successfully completed the “Certificate of Financial Planning” program at Kansas State University. He also worked as regional sales director for a financial services firm in Denver, Colorado. As a former commercial banker and Senior Vice President of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Topeka, Steve has 30+ years experience in banking and financial services. Steve and his wife have lived in the Topeka community for over 45 years. Steve has been active in the Topeka community, involved in the Optimist Club, the Lion’s Club, Junior Achievement, and President of the Southwest Youth Athletic Association. Steve currently volunteers in various capacities at Susanna Wesley UMC and serves on the board of Highland Community College Foundation. He also was a part of the organizers of VisionBank and served on the board for fourteen years. Steve is committed to improving the community in which he lives. |
