The Ministry Funding Plan
We believe Christian stewardship is a joyful response to God's gifts: it is a spiritual understanding of the practical and economic aspects of all of life. Our stewardship affirms the redemptive power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and our confidence in God's final victory in the world. How your financial gifts are used Worship Worship is our greatest opportunity to encourage one another to become followers of Jesus Christ. We invite you to enter our sanctuary to seek God's presence and guidance, sing praises, and learn more about God's word. Then, depart to serve all of God's people! Faith Formation We believe our faith journey is life-long. It begins when we first experience the love of God through the hands and hearts of the faith community. Each stage of our lives is an opportunity to explore more intimately who we are called to be and what we are called to do as Christ's followers. Youth Through Confirmation, IMPACT Youth Group, and mission work, our youth are blessed with opportunities to deepen their understanding of faith and given the tools to choose to become committed followers of Jesus Christ and members of the church. Senior Adults & Pastoral Care Our ministry with Senior Adults provides opportunities for ongoing faith development and supportive fellowship. Pastoral care is an important ministry for SWUMC. Our Pastor and the Susanna Wesley UMC Prayer Team share God's love in spiritual and tangible ways. Mission & Outreach Our mission outreach is a church-wide ministry impacting all ages. We serve and give as we are served and as we have received. Every group at Susanna Wesley is guided by our mission to seek, share, and serve in God's love. This is the foundation upon which we meet Christ's challenge to feed the hungry, give drink to the thirsty, welcome the stranger, cloth the naked, care for the sick and visit the prisoner. SW Kids - Early Learning and School Age Programs We are proud to serve young families in our community with a Christian-based preschool that builds a firm foundation upon which a life of faith is based. We provide school-age care before and after school, and during school breaks. Frequently Asked Questions about Online Giving What is Online Giving?
