Instructions for enrollment
  • Complete Pre-Enrollment Form for each child you wish to enroll and return to Preschool Office along with $65 non-refundable registration fee. Fees can be paid online.
  • Waiting list: A completed pre-enrollment form needs to be sent to the preschool office to secure your spot on our waiting list. The registration fee will not be due until you are notified of an opening for your child.
  • You will be notified that your child has been accepted in the preschool/childcare program provided there is space available.
  • Print the Enrollment Packet and fill out/complete ALL paperwork.  
  • Enrollment Packet is due one week prior to your child's beginning date. ​

Preschool and Childcare

​Our program provides a secure and safe environment, as well as a loving and stimulating atmosphere in which children can grow socially, emotionally, intellectually, physically, and spiritually through developmentally age-appropriate practices. Our early learning programs are for children ages 2 1/2 years to 5 years old.

​We recognize that children learn through play and we strive to create a climate that will encourage exploration, experimentation and creativity. Special attention is given to fostering a positive self-concept in each child through creative and structured learning opportunities.

​Our preschool early learning experiences at Susanna Wesley are full of hands-on activities that encourage children to be active and creative explorers of their environment. Skilled teachers facilitate children’s learning to help each child try out their own ideas and enhance their thought process. The daily schedule is divided equally between child-chosen and teacher guided activities taking into consideration children’s attention spans and capabilities. Children are exposed to music, art, math, science, language, plus pre-reading, pre-writing and socialization skills each day. Teachers offer encouragement as children experience new ideas and develop critical thinking skills.

Portfolios containing anecdotal records, work samples, and developmental checklists are kept on each child. This documentation helps teachers to plan for the individual child as well as for the group as a whole. Teachers can present additional challenges to assist individual children in developing their skills further. The way teachers plan, organize the environment, and select materials helps to create a relaxing, non-stressful yet challenging school experience where children can learn at their own stage of development.
