The SWUMC United Methodist Women are part of a one-million member organization whose purpose is to foster spiritual growth, develop leaders, and advocate for justice. World-wide, UMW members raise more than $25 million a year for programs and projects related to women, children and youth in the United States and more than 100 countries around the world.
Current UMW Circles
Jubilee/Serendipity Circle: Meets on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 2:00PM at Aldersgate in the dining room of Trent Plaza. All women are welcome to participate in our fellowship, learning and spiritual support at any time.
Friendship Circle: Meets on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 6:30PM in Room C5 at SWUMC. All women are welcome to join us for spiritual growth, learning and sharing, doing mission projects, and enjoying friendship!
We are a community of women whose purpose is to know God, and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ, to develop a creative, supportive fellowship and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church. We are a group of Christian women with many gifts who are unified by one Spirit, and participate in God’s mission in all areas of life.
