UWF BOOK CLUB AND READING PROGRAM: The UWF Book Club at Aldersgate starts April 28 with discussion of our first selection: The Girls in the Wild Fig Tree: How One Girl Fought to Save Herself, Her Sister and Thousands of Girls Worldwide by Nice Leng’ete. This memoir from Kenyan human rights activist shares how she works to end female mutilation and forced childhood marriages.
