Adult Faith Formation

L.I.F.E. Class

L.I.F.E. Class (Learn, Impact, Fellowship, Encourage) is a hybrid Sunday school class that meets 10:45 – 11:45 Sunday mornings both in person and online. The class studies books by contemporary authors as well as traditional Bible studies. For additional information, please contact the church office (office@swumc.org) to be put in touch with class leaders.

The Bridge

Looking to connect, grow, and dig deeper into God’s Word? Join us on the second and fourth Sunday of each month at 10:30 a.m. for a welcoming Bible study focused on fellowship and spiritual growth. Whether you’re new to studying the Bible or have been walking with Christ for years, you’ll find a friendly space to build relationships and discover how scripture speaks to our everyday lives.

Inductive Bible Study

This class meets in the leader’s home in Aldersgate Village from 6:30 to 8 pm the first and third Wednesday of each month. The class looks at one chapter of Scripture each meeting, examining what the passage says, what it meant to the original recipients, and what it means for us today. The facilitated conversation brings out different perspectives that are seen in the chapter. Each session ends with dessert and social time. For additional information, please contact the church office (office@swumc.org) to be put in touch with class leaders.

Senior Adults Inspiring Lives (SAIL)

SAIL meets the second Monday of every month at noon for a potluck and program. All senior adults are invited to come be a part of the fellowship. For more information, please contact John Paul Johnson.
