United Methodist Women
The SWUMC United Methodist Women are part of a one-million member organization whose purpose is to foster spiritual growth, develop leaders, and advocate for justice. World-wide, UMW members raise more than $25 million a year for programs and projects related to women, children and youth in the United States and more than 100 countries around the world.
Current UMW Circles
We are a community of women whose purpose is to know God, and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ, to develop a creative, supportive fellowship and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church. We are a group of Christian women with many gifts who are unified by one Spirit, and participate in God’s mission in all areas of life.
Jubilee/Serendipity Circle
Meets on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 2:00PM at Aldersgate in the dining room of Trent Plaza. All women are welcome to participate in our fellowship, learning and spiritual support at any time.
Friendship Circle
Meets on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 6:30PM in Room C5 at SWUMC. All women are welcome to join us for spiritual growth, learning and sharing, doing mission projects, and enjoying friendship!
