Becca Nyman

Meet Becca Nyman, our dedicated School Age Director who joined the Susanna Wesley United Methodist Church family on April 1st, 2022. With a passion for working with children, Becca has spent the past eight years in various roles, such as a camp counselor, children’s ministry intern, and site coordinator for a school-age program. Her 5-year tenure in a church setting has only strengthened her commitment to nurturing young minds.

Inspired by her positive experiences growing up in church and attending camps, Becca’s mission is to provide today’s children with the same uplifting environment. She’s excited to serve at Susanna Wesley and contribute to our early learning and school-age programs.
Recently engaged, Becca shares her home with her adorable cat. In her spare time, she loves exploring new coffee shops, traveling, and going for runs. As a committed community member, Becca also serves on the Board of Directors for the Missouri Leadership Seminar, which teaches leadership skills to high school sophomores.

We are thrilled to have Becca’s enthusiasm and expertise as part of the Susanna Wesley United Methodist Church team! Becca’s favorite children’s book is “Dragons Love Tacos.” The story resonates with her because tacos are her favorite meal and teaches a valuable lesson about working together to fix our mistakes.
