Meghan Blakeslee

Early Learning Assistant Teacher

Meet Meghan Blakeslee, our vibrant and devoted Early Learning Assistant Teacher at Susanna Wesley United Methodist Church. Meghan became a member of our team on May 22, 2023. She has been immersed in the church community and started working with children when she was ten.

Meghan’s inspiration to work with children stems from the profound joy and connection she experiences when engaging with them. This profound joy is a deeply beautiful and humbling experience for Meghan, and it’s one of the key reasons she chose to contribute her skills and talents to Susanna Wesley.

At home, Meghan’s world revolves around her loving, albeit slightly crazy, family, which includes her mom, dad, and twelve-year-old brother. She cherishes her family life and draws strength from their support and love.

When she’s not dedicating her time to early learning at Susanna Wesley, Meghan is a diligent high school student at Washburn Rural. Her studies have developed into a hobby that she passionately pursues. In addition, Meghan is a sports enthusiast, both on and off the field, and enjoys spending quality time with her friends and family.

Meghan also extends her service and devotion beyond Susanna Wesley as she actively participates in her church community, Fellowship.

Meghan’s favorite children’s movie is the Barney Christmas special. It encapsulates everything she loves about Christmas — the warmth, comfort, and joy the season brings. This enthusiasm for warmth and joy translates into Meghan’s work with children at Susanna Wesley United Methodist Church.

We are delighted to have Meghan in our Susanna Wesley family. Her love for children and her passion for teaching create a positive, nurturing environment that helps our young learners thrive.
